bullet imagebullet imageEstablished in 1977 with the aim of preserving the history of Millmerran and district for future generations, the Millmerran and District Historical Society Inc. proudly maintains the extensive Millmerran Museum.   Packed with historic objects and exhibitions telling the story of Millmerran's past, the Museum is housed in fourteen historical buildings on over an acre of leafy grounds.

Take a walk through time and discover the Millmerran Museum's collections which are typical of 19th and 20th century pioneering life in South East Queensland and the Darling Downs, including:  Commerce, war, railway, schooling, the dairy and farming industry memorabilia, transport, antique furniture, clothing, indigenous artefacts,and so much more.

"Water Baby"

The steam launch 'Water Baby' was built on Yandilla Station in 1877,  retrieved by the historical society in 1988 and the hull was restored as a Bicentennial Project.
