If you have special items or information you would like to add to the Museum please contact us to discuss. 

We receive donations of all kinds that relate to local history.  After accepting the item and following completion of the Deed of Gift form:

 

• Full details (eg donor, story, location in museum) are written up in the Acquisitions Book and a catalogue number is allocated.

• Details are then entered into an Excel spreadsheet.  

• The item’s number is attached to the item (either written directly on, or with a tag/string).

• Item is placed in appropriate location, often with the story attached..
